Hosting and server logs
The website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 101 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA. When you open a page, Netlify's servers process technical data that your browser sends automatically: IP address, date and time, the address requested, the referring page, browser type and operating system. This is necessary to deliver the website and to keep it secure (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Netlify processes this data on our behalf under its Data Processing Addendum (Art. 28 GDPR), stores log data only for a limited period and then deletes it.
Netlify may process data in the United States. Netlify, Inc. is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, on the basis of the European Commission's adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR); in addition, Netlify uses the EU standard contractual clauses (Art. 46 (2) (c) GDPR).
The film and the game
The dates, model, federal state, holidays and optional first name you enter are processed only in your browser. They are never transmitted to us, to Netlify or to anyone else.
So that your entries, your best results and your camera choice are still there next time, the apps store them in your browser's local storage on your device. This storage is strictly necessary to provide the function you asked for (§ 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG). We cannot read it. You can delete it at any time by clearing this website's data in your browser settings.
Links with your data
If you use "Link mit meinen Daten kopieren" (copy link with my data), your entries are written into the part of the web address after the # sign. Browsers do not send this part to the server, so it never reaches Netlify or us. Anyone you send the link to can, of course, see these entries.
If you write to us, we use your address and message only to answer you (Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR) and delete the correspondence when it is no longer needed, unless statutory retention periods apply.
Cookies and tracking
None. No cookies are set, and no data is passed to advertising or analytics services.
External links
The "Powered by Thorsten Meyer AI" link and the Inside AI links on the daily view ("Time for AI") lead to thorstenmeyerai.com. Nothing is loaded from there until you click one; after that, the privacy policy of that website applies. Whether you tick "I was there" for an Inside AI building is stored only in your browser's local storage, like your wish list.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing, the right to data portability, and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 15–21 GDPR). To exercise them, write to contact@thorstenmeyerai.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht, Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany).
